buyin a sk2

hey guys, i'm tryin to find my gf a sidekick. the only places i've seen that sells the sidekick2 are one where i have to get a plan with it. i've checked the sale forums and didn't really find nothing.. anybody knows where i can just buy the phone? besides ebay. thanks in advance

You should get a sidekick 3 The data tansfer, screen and trackball are much better. Also the software it has is great (like the mp3 player).

But if you really one an sk2, then go for ebay, everyone is selling theirs for the sk3. Just make sure you buy one for the service you plan to use (sk2 tmobile for example).

I agree! They improve the Sidekick alot so getting Sidekick 3 is a much better choice. The only thing I could think of why you want Sidekick 2 is the price.

Otherwise, you better off getting Sidekick 3 because they improve the web browsing so you can go to more web sites and you will have less problems with memory and java.

I don't own a Sidekick 3 but I have tried other people's Sidekick 3 and it is 100% much batter than Sidekick 2 which I used to own.

One of the reason I don't own a Sidekick 3 is because you can't use it as a modem for your laptop and Blackberry does what I want it to do.

It's pointless to have it unlock. Even if you do have it unlock, you can only use it for Cingular and it can only function as a phone only.

the Sidekick 3 is desperately missing the 900 MHz band. I'd looooove a Sidekick 3, but I"m doing a lot of international travel, and one of the countries I'm going to is China, which only has the 900 MHz band with T-Mobile.

Speaking of which, what do you think I should do? Get the quad band PEBL or buy a Sidekick 3 and get an unlocked 900 MHz phone or just try and find a new Sidekick 2?

Does anyone know where to get a new Sidekick 2 besides eBay?

yea i'm thinkin of gettin the sidekick3, at first i was going to get the blackberry pearl, its sweet lookin' BUT the blackberry plans prices are killin me on my bill lol so i think i'd just stick to the sidekick
