ok, my birthday is coming up soon, and i really want my parents to buy me a sidekick 2 for it. im turning 18 so ill be able to put the service in my own name and build some credit. my only problem is i heard a bunch of different things. i heard that if you have a sidekick you HAVE to get TMobile, and then i read somewhere else that you can use your sidekick with any service provider (cingular, sprint, ampd, verizon etc) just as long as your sidekick is unlocked. i really dont want to get TMobile because where i live you never get service ANYWHERE. can someone please clear this up for me so i know. Oh and another thing, how hard do you think it would be for me to get a phone in my own name with no credit and being 18?
