activating my sidekick 3?

I recently purchased an unlocked Sidekick 3 off of ebay. It doesnt fully work though because i cant seem to unlock everything. Everytime i turn it on or off or i lose my cell phone signal it goes back to the waiting for activation screen which i have to bypass at least 5or6 times a day by hitting the menu and l button at the same time, and because i cant activaite it, email, web, im and the catalog all dont work. Its a real downer because i paid $350 for it. (im with rogers btw so unlocked s3 works fine on rogers)
On a side note, anyone know how i can activate it fully here in canada?
