sidekick slide HELP!!!!

i just got a sidekick slide from my friend. when i put in my sim card it says i have to register it, but my friend already registered the phone for her sim card. and it will not let me register the phone for my sim. WHAT CAN I DO?!?!?

Ive heard rumors of Sidekick 3 working on the Hiptop 2 Fido option. Anyone know for sure?

hai..i did everythng u said buh got stuck at step 5.. i am able to restart the phone by pressing 0,1 and@,buh then when i press the R button it just doesnt restart..i restarted it manually 4 times and then inserted my sim card buh then when i turn it on it was suppose to give meh the window to enter the username and password buh it just goes str8 to the phone..heehee please HELP. btw if it makes any differnece im in new zealand and using a vodafone sim card!! thanx so much..

my friend had a similar problem with a sk3, he contacted the service provider and everything was fixed

my friend had the exact same problem when he received a phone from his friend for his birthday. he simply resolved this issue by calling the tmobile company and explaining his problems and in a matter of minutes they fixed it for him
