Hey Im new to this forum, just signed up,
basically there probably is someone who has had this problem i couldnt find it so i thought id post.
i live in england, south east ( if that makes a difference )
i purchased a sidekick slide over 48 hours ago but every time i turn it on
i get this message up
"Network data services are currently unavailable. either your
GPRS APN setting is incorrect or your account is not configured for
GPRS"
i am on a price plan which would give me free web and walk and i am signed up for
GPRS and i get full signal to T-Mobile the help on tmobile's website i followed did not help pressing the shift then L then going into internet settings and turning of
gprs and anything related to it and turning it on.
after i press okay i get the " waiting for activation " screen which under the loading bar says " A Welcome screen will appear within 24 hours after purchase. If it does not call customer care to check the status of your account. until then press (menu) to place emergency calls "
I was wondering if anyones had the same problem and knows what i should do to fix it instead of calling round tmobile for ages and sorting stuff out i mean im a patiant guy but ive waited twice the length its said to wait and im getting a little frustrated.
