Sidekick Recommended?

Hey guys whats up. So i'm thinking of buying a sidekick. I just don't know. I hear mixed things about it. How do you guys feel? They look nice and I hear the Instant Messaging is wonderful. Thanks in advance.

It really depends on what you want to do with the phone. I mean, a Blackberry device, say the 8900, with BeeJive IM will give you the same, if not better, IM experience as the Sidekick. I have a bias against the device, so I can't say I'd recommend it, but different strokes for different folks. If you like/need the features and the design, then go for it.

Well i LOVE instant messaging. Thats why I wanted to get it in the first place! Also, I found that t-mobileDOTcom/forums has a ton of awesome information on sidekicks. Register there and find me But thanks for your response. How do you like the 8900?

A friend of mine was quite satisfied with Sidekick, though I personally prefer Blackberrry 8900 or Nokia. It all depends on what you need and what you like. If you can try to test the phone first, though. You never know whether you will truly like it or not until you try it out yourself.

get a g1, similar to a sidekick but "more grown up"

Arguably the best Blackberry ever made, and that's saying much.
