    Net10 nokia 2600 Vs. Motorola C139
I don't use cell phone too much, so I am thinking about pre-pay phone
    carrie net10.
I am thinking about these two models, Nokia 2600, and Motorola C139.
But I don't know which one is a better choice. They have basically same
price. What I need is just a basic phone, can make/receive calls, send
message, and easy to use, stable software. I don't care about the MMS,
    GPRS things.
I also heard some reviews says sometimes, it may reset itself, and lost
everything including airtime, don't know if anyone has this type of
    experience.
    Any suggestion is appreciated.
    Thanks.

Looking at the reviews I have seen on both phones, the Nokia seems to
get the better reviews. I personally will not have anything but nokias
as they typically are better built and more durable than most anything.
However, If your are going from a strictly bare bones standpoint, the
motorolla c139 talk time lists at 11.67 hours and 450 hours on standby.
that is just ridicullously good, although it seems it gets that at the
cost of a very dark screen appearantly. the Nokia on the other hands
talk time is 3 hours, and 250 on standby. but i imagine you can see the
screen on it even with the backlight off.

My Net10 Motorola C139 was the best $20 investment that I've ever made.
Actually, it was $50 but that included thirty dollars of airtime. No
problems at all. The screen IS very bright: it can even be used as a
mini-flashlight to find your door key at night. It is a bit difficult to
read in bright sunlight, so I just use it in the shade. All minutes are 10
cents, except international, which are 15 cents. You really cannot go wrong.
Try it for 2 months and if you don't like it, simply buy no more airtime.
But, you'll keep it. The network has proved itself to be far superior to
Sprint's in my opinion. Go to Target or Wal-Mart to buy the thing or to
purchase minute cards. The phone also looks expensive, not like some piece
of crap like so many bottom line phones do. Screw what Sprint has tried to
do to it's customers: charge exorbitant prices for their phones and only
provide new incentives like 7:00 PM free calling when their competitors nail
them to the wall to come up with something. They are as big on deception as
George Dubya Bush League. Minute phones are definitely going to cut into the
bottom line of the Regulars, and I'm ecstatic. It's about time that somebody
does. Look if you like, but you'll find that nobody beats Net10 for value OR
    connectivity.

    That is great, thanks.
And also, I know that net10 actually is owned by Tracfone. Tracfone has
the same phone. Do you guys know what the rate difference on these two?

The difference is enough to lead me to believe that Tracfone will be phased
    out, Nick.
