Is the v60s able to take a fall? A bit of rough treatment? My job
necessitates toughness....
Dank.

Re: v60s sturdy?
Its reasonably sturdy, but I would not subject it to, say, "a construction
site," or similar environment.

Re: v60s sturdy?
I"d say it's as least as sturdy as the V60i (which I"ve had and now have the
60s) and the 60i held up very well for me and if it can stand up to me there
isn't much can hurt it. ;-)

I do spend time on construction sites. Guess I'd better get the case.

Get the genuine Motorola case, not the one offered by Verizon. Motorola
SYN8463. $10 from CellularAccessory.com. The case solves another issue as
well; the V60 models are a bit of a pain to open without the case.

Ah crud ;-) I already ordered the v60s and the combo of case and car
charger from verizonwireless.com. Oh, well. I'm sure I'll be happy,
considering I've been using the kyocera 2135 for 2 years.
Hard to open? That's the first I've heard of that problem. Hope it's not
serious. I use my phone a lot while driving.

Re: v60s sturdy?
Not sure if I posted wrong but I had a question on the v60s phones. We
live out of town a bit and I have a v60c phone with the extendable
antenna and I tested 2 new v60s phones with the stubby antenna. The
v60c seems to pull the signal in quite a bit better than the v60s
phone. Would it be possible to put the extendable antenna on the v60s
phone and have better signal without messing anything up. Other than
that I really like the phone. Thanks for any help anyone may have.

Re: v60s sturdy?
Hard to open?!? What are they talking about? Just use the speaker
indentations to easily grasp the flip...
