I lost my cell phone earlier today and I was wondering if there's some
way to call it and activate its internal GPS and hopefully find it. Or
maybe there's a way to at least find out which cell phone tower(s) it's
closest to. The phone is an LG6100 if that helps...

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Only if you have "E911 Only" turned off, i.e. GPSone unlocked.

Exactly my point. As far as I know, by default the GPSone is limited
to E911 only. If, and only if, the owner of the phone unlocks GPSone,
then the owner can find their phone. But you can't do that remotely.
You need to unlock the GPS on the phone using the menu options. BTW,
who even bothers to unlock the GPS on their phone? Not many I would
    guess.

In this case, unfortunately, I think the OP is out of luck.
