    JoshIII agrees:
    Sounds like a night mare!

I rarely have to call TracFone customer service, and
I have been a happy TracFone user since late 2001.

I have learned from a "near bad experience" with deactivation,
customer service, and almost loosing the remaining
minutes, to always ask the customer service representative to
account for the remaining minutes in the airtime tank
before and technical procedures begins, i.e. to correct
    a problem or deactivation.

That way if the minutes get zeroed out in the process,
they can be restored after the phone has
    been reprogrammed or problem resolved.

If I were you I would forget posting the
    complaint on www.planetfeedback.com ,
but preferably call the TracFone Executive
    Resolutions Department about the remaining
600 minutes. Whatever you do, don't
get angry and start screeming at them over
    the phone.

    I have always gotten excellent
results from the Exec Resolutions Dept,
but had to be patient and give them time
    to respond.

Post the result of you TracFone
    problem resolution here.

    Thanks in advance. Good luck!
