yeah, he bought it. that's what happened when you're not being too patient on things and searching on the net.

One of my frnd bought a iphone couple of days ago and he keeps on complaining that his phone gets locked. And when ever the phone gets locked he goes to a rubbish store in California and they don't unlock it properly after two days it gets locked again, can u guys tell me, what can be the reasons for an iphone to get locked?

Is there any softwares out in the market that can help unlocking the phone sitting at home. Because this way he is wasting a lot of money, when ever he goes to unlock his phone, they charge him $150.00. One day he asked them why the phone gets unlocked but none of those morons could tell him anything.

Anyways he is moving to NY next week, is there any place in NY where we can have the phone 100% unlocked??

you can unlock it yourselves!

but first you have to do a series of steps.

if you guys know how to jailbreak your iphone then it's possible to be unlocked.

first you have to jailbreak it. then unlock the iphone using a software called yellowsnow.

and you're done ^_^

yes, it does work. .i think in this forums there are steps and tutorials as well. that one i saw is from another forums. but it will def. work as long as you follow the instructions..
