The new 3.0 feature which searches your iPhone is nice. But I've found that it "finds" lots of old deleted emails. If I search for my own name, for example, it turns up many deleted emails addressed to me.
I have 2 email accounts on the phone (Gmail and Comcast), both of which have no undeleted messages and both of which have emptied trash folders. But the deleted messages are still somewhere on the phone, and are still being found by the search function.
Is there any way to truly expunge these deleted emails from the phone?
