So I am tired of att screwing up our bills and my service goes up and down up and down. It says on the att websites map that I should get 3G at my house. There is a huge blue circle around our house. The reason I even thought about getting the iphone was because of supposedly getting 3G. Now the internet is so slow and even facebook takes along time to upload.

It's different in every area. Sometimes it's slow because the tower in your is overloaded. Are you in a densely populated area?

Also towers are added every month and I am sure they are aware of your areas problem if it is coming from the carrier.

Get the "Mark Your Spot" app to report your connectivity problems to AT&T. The app is written by them.
Also, AT&T is rolling out the micro-cell nationwide. Check that out. Only thing is that it'll cost you $19.99/month. On the flip side, you get free unlimited calls when you are home, plus you get awesome signal.
