New Blackberry Bold/Storm

After inquiring about the new Blackberry Bold at my local AT&T store, I was told that The Bold would be offered through AT&T with a touch screen the same as the Storm has in addition to the keyed Bold version.
Anyone else heard this?
How would you rate the Blackberry touch screen to the iPhone?

First of all Bold is not a touchscreen
idk if its coming out as one tho.

Second Storm is for Verizon only.
When i was playing with the Storm it was so much better than the Ipone
i played with an Iphone also
Storm is just a new type of touch screen.

I never heard about a touch screen Bold, interesting though.

The BB Storm touch screen takes a little getting used to, and has a learning curve to it. But after a few hours of using it I found it to be effective. IMHO, I think it is a tier above the Iphone.

Storm seems to better in touch screen.

Not even a possibility, for at least two years.

Verizon Wireless has a contract with Blackberry which states that the Storm will be the only touch Blackberry made for two years. Unless, Blackberry decides to make another exclusive to Verizon touch Blackberry. Verizon has dibbs on this, just like AT&T has on the iPhone.

The Blackberry Bold for Orange has been pulled from stores because of Bad Software issues so i would wait / i was told the same thing is happening to AT&T but its still selling.
I havent heard anything about the storm yet.

if you care about camera, the storm beats the iphone with a 3.2 mp, plus the storm looks really awesome, but it's similar to the iphone, it's got gps aswell, it's 3g and is completly touchscreen like iphone.

the bb storm is too slow....even after the update.

I found it to be very effective and a wonderful phone. I never noticed it being slow...

It's pretty fast and it blows the iPhone 3G out of the water. The iPhone, in reality, lacks 3G due to AT&T's lack of 3G coverage...same with the Bold.

to each their own. i find a lot of lag in the software such as when flipping the screen from portrait to landscape, i do not like the click-screen, i find it hard to type with, and it's quite heavy. im not a fan of the iphone either, they both have their faults.

as for the 3G, i guess it depends on where you located. i have no trouble obtaining 3G connection.
