    Hey all,

I just got an unlocked T-Mobile Razr to use on my at&t plan. I am having no problems texting or calling poeple but I cannot access the internet, although the phone is capable of doing so and I have interent access on my plan. Why is this? Does the T-Mobile not have the right soft/hardware to get on the cingular network?

Re: Unlocked T-Mobile phone for at&t

I recently bought an unlocked phone Razr, but when I recieved it I realized it was unlocked but not capatable with my phone. The Razr was titled for AT&T. I could call and text on it, but couldn't send picture messages and I couldn't access the internet. I went to TMobile and they told me that there is no way to over ride the browser so I wouldn't be able to do anything that had to do with browsing the internet on that phone. The only thing I can tell you to do is take internet off your phone, or go buy a phone that is compatable with either just TMobile or just AT&T. It's a hassle trying to deal with it, I did it for 2 weeks before I finally just went and got a completly new phone.

Go into Web Sessions and change the Internet and MMS settings to those appropriate for AT&T. If the T-Mobile settings are locked, create new settings and make them the the default. Each carrier has its own setting but those settings are the same for any phone on that carrier's network.

    Browser Settings (in web sessions):

    Name: Cingular Wireless Internet
    Homepage: http://device:home or http://device.home
    Service Type 1: WAP

    MMS Settings (in web sessions):

Some settings may not have to be entered for all phones because they are set at the default for those models. You can leave the User Name and Password fields blank.

Unlocked T-Mobile Dash phone for AT&T

I have a Dash from T-Mobile. I found where to set the Cingular IP address and APN but the T-Mobile home page still loads. How do I set the new settings as the default? Also I can't find how to set the MMS settings on the Dash - any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the settings, I have an old T-mobile phone and was thinking about trying to set it up for AT&T. Now I just need to find out how to unlock it.

Ok I have an unlocked Razr as well, i can not get into get my internet and I can not receive photo texts as well. It is driving me nuts. I can not figure where to even go in. I tried to see if I could find the shortcuts that has been shown and I can not get in there. I don't know what to do as this is the only phone I have and I can not afford to get another one right now. I want a new phone....
