signed up my wife with at&t about 4 months ago, 3gb data, unlimited cell to cell and 500 minutes to land line, $107.00 per month, well figuring she was going to be away and wanting to talk more than a couple minutes a day i decided to upgrade my verizon from 250 minutes to unlimited talk and text, plus 250mb data, total cost with tax $53.65 per month.did this so she could call my cell unlimited, then got to thinking, shes paying twice as much just for the data it seems. so i called them to get the early cancellation fee. that what the lies started, rep told me she would change the plan from 3gb data to 1 gb data and unlimited talk and text to anywhere and it would be about half of what it was, plus i would get a $25.00 credit on next months bill, well guess what, bill comes and instead of $107.00 its $98.00 and no credit, well first $98.00 isnt half of $107.00. also i had a problem with my voicemail about a week ago and while on the live chat i asked if indeed my bill was cut in half, the rep said well is a little over half with taxes, two verifications i figured id gotten. i call them and they say it was miscommunications, bull whats so hard to understand about = is my bill in half of what it was. now the rep did instantly credit me the $25.00 and said that if i was told that then he would give that, but what about cutting my bill in half. thats fine next month i pay the early termination fee = $265.00, and go with verizon, ill save almost $400.00 and that after i take off the $265.00 fee for dumping at&t. doesnt sound like a huge sum over the next 20 months but its also the principle of it. they felt the need to lie. now they did say i could keep the phone, guess because its locked with at&t, but most of us here know what can be done about that, pretty easy fix. but with bestbuy offering the 5s for i think $99.00 and verizon, well thats a no brainer. anyway i found out that at&t doesnt stand behind there words and cant be trusted.

The initial bill is going to include the bill for the partial current billing cycle plus the advanced billing for the next billing cycle. You should be able to look at the lines in your bill to see for what you were charged. Instead you come into this forum slinging charges without documentation.
