Short Survey - Patterns in UserIDs (need help)

Hi,

My name is Nitin. I am a graduate student at University of Illinois at
Chicago (UIC). I am conducting a few minutes short survey on "Patterns
in Userids" for my research project. We want to study patterns in
usernames or userids created by people when they register on different
websites, etc. I would be really thankful if you could participate in

I'll allow this since I am also a comp sci graduate Mods, let this one be.

....the only thing I see wrong with this survey is that it requires you to give both your user ID AND the site where you use that ID... that is a lot of information.... if anyone took the time to follow my posts on more than one forum I am certain that they would have more information about me than I would want someone to have.

Add to that the fact that most people use the same password on several sites... you're exposing yourself in some big ways...

I looked over the survey, and I will not be able to participate for that very reason. Good luck with your project though. Hopefully there are many less paranoid folks who are willing to give you the information that you require. Myself, I have just been burned once too often by password and site ID thieves to risk it.
