Honestly do those promotions work

Everybody knows those things that pop up, do this survey and get a cellphone. Or something in that manner, has anyone succeeded in this?I want to get some feedback to some if it works so I can spend some of my free time to get an I-Pod or Cell phone.

only ones u see that ahve good reviews such as" as seen on cnn, or fox5"

but u actually have to participate in an offer or two

but eventualy u actualy will receive your free gift

people just dont bother completeing offers or they do the wrong "free ipod" offer

my friend invested in one and he received an ipod mini

but that was awhile ago

Some of them actually work, but MOST of them are used by companies to collect valid email addresses, so they can send product related spam to those collected email addresses.

You answer a ton of questions (sometimes) or just have to pick through several "Offers", you can say no to them all and the options and offers keep coming until you stop clicking or sign up for a couple of things.

and may even sell all the email address they collected to another spammers..

Just remember that old adage; "there is no such thing as a free lunch". Just like korean said, most of these deals require you to get involved with a couple of other product reviews or trials before you get your promised "free gift". I have seen people get some cool stuff through these deals, but it can take up to a year or more to get what you actually signed up for.

Be careful, whatever you decide to do.

The one I am working on getting (A free DS Lite), you can sign up for Ebay, or even iWon. You have to refer 30 people, lol
