I purchased the tablet today after doing as much research and decision making as i could over the Pro's and Con's between the tablet and iPad.
It's pretty cool, like a giant android smartphone that CAN'T make a call, except through google voice maybe or skype. I could of and have-to take a texting plan ( 5$ 10$) in order to text using a phone number issue to me upon registering/activating the tablet, but i'm texting using my Google voice number... if i need to text.
I took the minimum require data plan... 20$ a month no contract, this gives 3G when i can't connect to WiFi, when i connect to WiFi no data bites are used. It has Swype, pretty good camera, and a good video camera if needed, and surfing the internet is great on a large screen compare to trying to surf the net on a cell phone.
The Tablet is where a Smart-phone and a Laptop computer are on a collision course, its just a matter of time as the pieces are coming together.
