so one that would work on the nokia 5100 cause i hear that nokia phones have compatibility issues

Ive never had a problem with the IRDA I bought uploads ringtones etc without a problem loses signal alot but does it fine when its stable

From my experience, infrared adapters price-wise are just a bit cheaper than the bluetooth adapters. I ordered my bluetooth adapter off NCIX.com for $60CDN including shipping+taxes. I imagine an infrared one would cost about ~50CDN.
