Looks like RIM is at work again and this time its a smartphone in the making that may have a name that just doesn't quite make sense. The name of the new BlackBerry device is
BlackBerry Torch 10000. Yeah, I told you so. Anyway, the way the name came about is that RIM took the name of the device plus added a five digit number (since RIM has just about exhausted the four digit numbers that they are known for). What does the five digit number stand for? Apparently the number represents the model denomination.
We don't know when RIM plans on launching this device, but the
BlackBerry Torch 10000 has been seen on AT&T's past and current lists and could possibly launch in the third quarter of 2012. Possible features that may be found on this
Torch device could include: BlackBerry OS 10, 8MP camera and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.
Once we get more confirmed info on this device, we will be the first to let you know.
