During these past several months, leaks surrounding the HTC One Max have continued to flow at a steady rate. Meanwhile, the majority of big-time manufacturers out there have unveiled their latest phablets, including Samsung and its Galaxy Note 3, LG and the Vu 3 and the list goes on. That being said, we're quite intrigued by the idea of HTC's first phablet, especially given the fact that the Taiwanese manufacturer has managed to push the resolution on the HTC One to 1080p, without bumping the size further than 4.7 inches. (HTC isn't active in the tablet market either, so I assume that the company isn't really fond of large screens).

In any case, the HTC One Max appears to be real, and while we're still not sure when exactly the device will be unveiled, the Taiwanese manufacturer seems to continue and push the handset towards the finish line. The latest leak comes straight from the Chinese FCC equivalent, from where a couple of interesting shots of the fabled One Max have surfaced. As before, these leaked shots confirm what we've already suspected: the HTC One Max is likely to borrow the same design language as the HTC One and the Mini, but arrives with a larger footprint and a fingerprint scanner on the back panel.

Aside from these details, the One Max will reportedly feature a 6 inch display, a Snapdragon 800 processor under the hood, an UltraPixel main camera and some sort of dock connectors on the side – similar to those that are to be found on last year's HTC One X.

The source of this particular leak (not the Chinese FCC, but the source that got a hold on these details in the first place) also claims that the HTC One Max may be unveiled on October 15. That's a pretty interesting date, considering the fact that the iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2 are also expected to be announced by Apple on that very same day. Coincidence? Most likely yes.

In any case, until more details regarding this sought-after gadget are going to surface, feel free to leave a comment below and share your thoughts on the Max.
