Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update now available for the Samsung Galaxy S II for India

If you were one of the lucky ones who purchased the Samsung Galaxy S II in India, but are impatiently waiting for an Android update for your device, good news. The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is now available and has already begun to roll out.

The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will be available to both the i9100G version as well as the i9100. For the i9100 version, the update should be XWLP7 while the i9100G will have the XXLPQ update.

The update will take place over-the-air, but can also be downloaded using Kies on your computer.
