Customers of U.S. Cellular that have been waiting for the opportunity of buying the
Samsung Galaxy S4 from their favorite carrier are in for treat. The 16 GB model in both Black Mist and White Frost will soon be available for purchase online via the aforementioned mobile operator tomorrow, on April 26th.
Those who would prefer to pick up the smartphone directly from a brick and mortar store will have to wait a bit longer though, as U.S. Cellular will place the Galaxy S4 on its shelves starting with April 30th.
The pre-order page is up and running so if you'd like to pre-order the handset then hit the source link at the bottom. The good thing about pre-purchasing the handset at U.S. Cellular is that the carrier is also throwing in a free S View flip cover (worth $59.99) to those who have been, or will pre-order the handset until April 26th (while supplies last). As far as pricing goes, the 16 GB model will set you back $199 on a new 2-year agreement.
What you'll get for your money is a 5-inch 1080 x 1920 Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch, covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.9 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, a microSD card slot through which you can expand the storage by up to 64 GB, a 13 MP camera on the back featuring Dual Shot, HDR and Optical Image Stabilization (among many other features), a 2 MP camera on the front, a 2,600 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The handset also packs Samsung's latest TouchWiz user interface that introduces new features such as S Health, Adapt Display / Sound, S Translate, Sound & Shot and many more.
Check out U.S. Cellular's official page if you wish to pre-order, and get your wallets ready for April 26th / 30th.
