Sync iPhone Contacts to a Google Account via iTunes:
NOTE: If you have iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can use the app to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the ZTE Blade X9.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Click the iPhone in iTunes
- Go to the Info tab and enable Sync Contacts With
- From the drop-down menu, select Google Contacts
- Sign in with your Google account, or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply and wait for the sync to complete
- Once done, switch to the ZTE device
- If necessary, register the same account on the ZTE, and allow it to sync contacts with your Android phone
Export iCloud Backup:
NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access your account on a computer with an active Internet connection and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Access Contacts and select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, you can perform one of these two steps:
- Import the vCard file via Google Contacts
- Connect the ZTE Blade X9 to your PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use the Contacts app to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: The methods above require access to a computer with an active Internet connection. However, you can also transfer your contacts using third party applications instead. For instance, My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.
- Launch the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the application and tap Backup
- After the backup file is created, tap Email
- Compose a new email containing the vCard file as an attachment
- Send the email to your own address
- Switch to the ZTE Blade X9 and open the email
- Download the attached vCard file and use the Contacts app to import it to your device
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on iOS and Android. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without the need of a computer.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the ZTE Blade X9
- Open the application on both smartphones
- Tap Send > Contacts on the iPhone
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send again
- Lastly, select a transfer method. For instance, you can tap Generate QR Code on the iPhone, or tap Receive on the ZTE device and manually enter the transfer code from the iPhone
