Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the ZTE Blade X9 to your computer via USB
- At the prompt, enable Media device (MTP). Otherwise, swipe the Status bar down on the home screen and enable the option from the notification area
- On the computer, launch the File Explorer
- Use the Explorer to locate the audio files on your computer
- Copy the desired audio files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications folder(s)
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the Phones Ringtone:
- Access the phones Settings menu
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound
- Under Call ringtone & vibrate, tap Phone ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, turn Also vibrate for calls On or Off
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap the desired contact
- Tap Edit (icon shaped like a pencil)
- Tap Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the Settings menu
- Under Device, tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default Notification Sound under Sound
- Select the desired notification sound
- Tap OK
