Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the ZTE Grand X Max 2 to your computer via USB
- When prompted, turn on Media device (MTP) / File Transfer (MTP) on the phone; otherwise enable the feature from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Use the Explorer to locate the audio files on your computer
- Copy the desired audio files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Media folder and Ringtones / Alarms / Notifications directories
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change The General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch Settings
- Under Device, tap Sound & notification
- Tap Phone ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, you can turn Also vibrate for calls on or off
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Open Contacts
- Select the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select a notification sound and tap OK to confirm
