Alcatel's OT-980 will be Alcatel's first phone to run Android. The Acatel OT-980 is like a Palm Pre in the design but may be changed once the handset is out of the prototype stage. We should see the actual OT-980 when it unveiles at MWC 2010.

The OT-980 is considered to be a more low to mid end handset that will feature: QVGA resistive touchscreen display, Android 1.6, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, accelerometer, 3.5mm headset jack, 2MP camera, MicroSD card support, 600MHz processor and 192MB of RAM.

Pricing has not been mentioned but the Alcatel OT-980 should be launched, via Orange France before mid-2010. Several color versions should be available.
