Restart the HTC One SV
If your smartphone is running slower than usual, its unresponsive or an app is not working properly, you should try to restart the HTC One SV to see if that will fix the problem.
1. If the display of your smartphone is off, turn it on by pressing the POWER button.
2. Unlock the display and then press and hold the POWER button and select Restart.
3. If asked to confirm, tap Restart.
4. In case you cant reset your smartphone using these steps, remove and reinstall the battery and turn the device on to restart it.
Note: If your device doesnt respond when you press its buttons or touch the screen, dont worry because you can still restart it. All you need to do is press and hold the POWER button for 10 seconds or more, and then release the button. The HTC One SV should then restart.
A factory reset will delete all of your files, apps youve downloaded as well as customized settings permanently, so you should back up everything that you want to keep before performing a factory reset (also known as a hard reset).
