Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Kyocera DuraForce Pro.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” in the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. After the sync is done, switch to the Kyocera DuraForce Pro and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Sync the account data including contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Go to “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Once the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, follow one of these steps:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Kyocera phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app which can back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Access the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard file of your iPhone contacts
  3. Tap “Email” to compose an email and ensure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  5. Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard file
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share iPhone contacts cross-platform without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Access the Play Store and install the same app on the Kyocera DuraForce Pro
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the iPhone
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, choose the desired transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
