Transferring Contacts Using iTunes:

If you have access to a computer with Internet and iTunes installed, you can use the software in order to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. In turn, this makes it very easy to sync the contacts from the account with the LG G2 Mini. Synced contacts will include the contact image, email, contact notes and any other details.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Establish a connection between the iPhone and the computer via USB
  3. After it successfully connects, the iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click it
  4. Next up, access the "Info" tab and mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box
  5. From the drop-down menu, select "Google Contacts"
  6. Register your Google account in iTunes. If you've already done this, you can click "Configure" and select an existing account
  7. Click "Apply" and iTunes will begin the syncing process
  8. Once done, register the same Google account on the LG G2 Mini, as in iTunes. If necessary, go to "Settings" > "Accounts"
  9. Allow the Google account to sync contacts with your G2 Mini

Transferring Contacts Using iCloud:

The iCloud backup service can be used to export your iPhone contacts, assuming that you've activated the service on your smartphone prior to this guide. For this approach, you need a computer with Internet access, and the iCloud account on which the contacts have been backed up.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on your PC, and visit https://www.icloud.com/
  2. Sign in with your iCloud account and click "Contacts"
  3. From the list of contacts, select the ones that you wish to export
  4. Click the button depicting a cog wheel, located in the lower left side
  5. Select "Export vCard" and wait for your computer to download the VCF file containing the selected contacts
  6. Once the file is downloaded, import it to "Google Contacts". Alternatively, skip this step and follow the next one instead:
  7. Establish a connection between the LG G2 Mini and your computer via USB. Copy the VCF file to the phone's "sdcard" directory, and launch the "Contacts" app. Then, tap "Menu" and use the "Import" function to import the contents of the vCard file to your phonebook

Transferring Contacts through "My Contacts Backup":

My Contacts Backup is an iOS application that can be used to backup and transfer contacts via email. This method of contact transfer does not require access to a computer with Internet.

  1. Launch the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
  2. Open the application and tap "Backup"
  3. After the VCF file is created, tap "Email" to attach it to a new email
  4. Send the email containing the attachment, to your own Gmail address
  5. On the LG G2 Mini, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Using the "Contacts" application, import the contacts from the VCF file to your phonebook

Using "Send Anywhere" to Transfer Contacts:

"Send Anywhere" is an iOS and Android application which can be used for transferring various file types, including contacts. The app uses a P2P connection, so there's no requirement to have access to a computer. To perform this method:

  1. Go to the Google Play Store and install "Send Anywhere" on the G2 Mini
  2. Visit the App Store and install the app on your iPhone
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" and select "Contacts"
  5. Mark the contacts that you wish to transfer, and tap "Send"
  6. Next and last, select the desired method of transfer. Tapping "Receive" on the G2 Mini will allow you to enter the randomly generated transfer code from the iPhone. You can alternatively tap "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone, and scan the code with the G2 Mini's camera in order to commence the transfer
