Restoring Applications:

  1. Tap the "Apps" icon while on the home screen
  2. Tap "Settings" and go to "personal"
  3. Touch "Backup & reset" and mark the "Automatic restore" check box

Restoring Contacts:

  1. While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Access the "Settings" menu
  3. Swipe to "Personal" and tap "Backup & reset"
  4. Tap "LG Backup service" > "File restore & management"
  5. Browse for, locate and tap the desired backup file
  6. Tap "Next"
  7. To begin the restore, press "Start". The process may take several minutes
  8. At the "Restored" pop-up, tap "Done"
  9. Your smartphone will now reboot, and the contacts should be restored

Restoring Data from the SD Card:

  1. Tap "Apps" while viewing a home screen
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Scroll to "Personal" and then tap "Backup & reset"
  4. Tap "LG Backup service" > "File restore & management"
  5. Navigate to, and tap the desired SD card backup
  6. Tap "Next" and press "Start" to begin the restore.
  7. Once the "Restored" message appears, press "Done" and wait for your smartphone to reboot

Restoring Media Files Using the Smartphone:

  1. Open the apps drawer and tap "Settings"
  2. Tap "Backup & reset" under "personal"
  3. Tap "LG Backup service" and go to "File restore & management"
  4. Locate the desired backup file and tap it
  5. Tap "Next" > "Start". It may take a few minutes for the media files to be restored
  6. When the process is done, tap "Done" and wait for your smartphone to reboot

Restoring Media Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Use the USB cable to connect the LG G3 to your computer
  2. When prompted on the LG G3, tap "Media sync (MTP)"
  3. On the computer, navigate to where the desired media files are located
  4. Copy the files, and then navigate to your phone's storage, specifically where you wish to restore the media files
  5. Paste the files in the desired location
  6. Once the process is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone from your computer by clicking the "removable mass storage device" icon in the system tray
