Restoring Applications:

  1. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Swipe to "Personal" and tap "Backup & reset"
  4. Mark the check box next to "Automatic restore"

Restoring Contacts:

  1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
  2. Go to "Settings" and swipe to "Personal"
  3. Tap "Backup & reset"
  4. Tap "LG Backup service" > "File restore & management"
  5. Locate and tap the backup file you wish to restore
  6. Tap "Next" > "Start". (NOTE: the process may take several minutes to complete)
  7. From the "Restored" notification, tap "Done"
  8. Wait for your smartphone to restart, and the data should be restored

Restoring Data from the SD Card:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Tap "Settings" and swipe to "Personal"
  3. Tap "Backup & reset" > "LG Backup service"
  4. Tap "File restore & management"
  5. Locate the desired backup file and ta pit
  6. Tap "Next" > "Start"
  7. At the "Restored" message, tap "Done"
  8. Your device will reboot and data should be restored

Restoring Media Files Using the Smartphone:

  1. Go to the phone's "Settings" menu
  2. Tap "Backup & reset" and tap "LG Backup service"
  3. Go to "File restore & Management"
  4. Locate the desired backup file and load it
  5. Tap "Next" and press "Start" to begin the process
  6. Once finished, tap "Done" and your smartphone will reboot

Restoring Media Files from a Computer:

  1. Connect the LG G3 S to your computer via USB
  2. At the prompt, tap "Media Sync (MTP)"
  3. On the PC, navigate to where the media files are backed up
  4. Copy the desired files, and navigate to the phone's storage
  5. Paste the files in the appropriate folders on the phone
  6. After the files have been transferred, click the "Removable mass storage device" icon located in the system tray, and safely disconnect your smartphone from the computer
