Enabling Battery Saver Mode:
- Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
- Go to "Settings" and scroll to "Device"
- Tap "Battery" > "Battery saver"
- Tap the "Battery saver" switch and set it to "ON"
- Select to enable the saver mode "Immediately", at "10% battery" etc.
- Customize the mode by marking and / or clearing the check boxes associated with the available features
- For more options, tap the "Settings" icon next to "Brightness" and "Screen timeout"
Lowering the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:
- From the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Go to "Settings" and tap "Display"
- Tap "Brightness" and drag the brightness slider to the left to decrease the screen luminosity
- Press "Back" to return to the previous screen
- Tap "Screen timeout" and select a lower value, like "15 seconds"
Disabling Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Hotspot:
NOTE: A smartphone's battery life can be heavily influenced by the phone's connectivity features. Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth can have a great negative impact on your phone's battery performance, so you should always keep these features disabled when not in use.
- Tap "Apps" from the home screen
- Go to "Settings" and tap "Tethering & Networks"
- Tap "Mobile Hotspot"
- Tap the switch associated with "Mobile Hotspot" and set it to "OFF"
- Press "Back" and return to the "Settings" menu
- Swipe to "Personal" and tap "Location"
- Tap "Mode" and choose "Battery saving"
- Press "Back" a couple of times to return to the "Settings" menu
- Under "Wireless networks", tap the switches associated with "Wi-Fi" and "Bluetooth", and set them to "OFF"
Change the Sync Settings for Apps:
- Launch the apps drawer
- Tap "Settings" and swipe to "Personal"
- Tap "Accounts & sync" and clear the "Auto-sync data" check box
- Under "Accounts", select an application and change its sync settings as desired
Disabling Background Data:
- Tap "Apps" while viewing the home screen
- Go to "Settings" > "Mobile data"
- Press "Menu" and mark the "Restrict background data" check box
- Tap "OK" to confirm
Minimizing the Use of Third Party Apps:
NOTE: Certain 3rd party applications can still run processes in the background even when the app is not running. With that in mind, it's highly recommended that you disable or uninstall unused applications, in order to avoid unnecessary battery drainage.
- Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
- Go to "Settings" and swipe to "Device"
- Tap "Apps" and swipe to the "Downloaded" tab
- Tap and hold the app you wish to disable or uninstall
- Tap "Force stop" to disable the app
- To completely remove it, tap "Uninstall" and follow any additional pop-ups
Keeping Your Smartphone Updated:
NOTE*: Sometimes, smartphone manufacturers and carriers launch software updates that include fixes and / or improvements to battery life. As such, it's highly advised that you keep your smartphone up to date.
NOTE**: If no software update is available, following these steps will have no impact on your phone's battery performance.
- Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
- Go to "Settings" and swipe to "System"
- Tap "About phone" > "Update Center" > "System updates"
- Tap "Check now" and follow any additional prompts as they come

whatever i think, keeping Brightness low is the best way to save the battery of your smartphone.
