Sync iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the LG device.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your PC using the lightning cable
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account, or alternatively, click “Configure” and select an account from the list
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, switch to the LG device and register the same Google account
  8. Sync the contacts on the account with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up to your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with an Internet connection, and export the contacts in vCard format for use on Android.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share
  6. Click “Settings”
  7. Click “Export vCard” and wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer
  8. After the file is downloaded, perform one of the following steps:
    • Import the vCard file to “Google Contacts” or
    • Connect the LG Stylus 2 Plus to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: The two methods above require access to a computer, but you can also transfer contacts to your Android device using third party apps instead. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Launch the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”
  3. After creating the backup file, tap “Email”
  4. Write a new email containing the vCard as an attachment
  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. Once done, switch to the LG device and open the email
  7. Download the vCard attachment and import it using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use for transferring iPhone contacts is Send Anywhere. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store on the iPhone and install “Send Anywhere”
  2. Install the same app on the LG Stylus 2 Plus via the Google Play Store
  3. Tap “Send” on the iPhone, and tap “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Tap “Send” and select a transfer method. You can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone, or tap “Receive” on the LG Stylus 2 Plus and follow the on-screen prompts
