Back Up App Data:

  1. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings”
  3. Access the “General” tab if needed
  4. Tap “Backup & reset”
  5. Turn on “Back up my data”

Back Up Contacts On the SD Card:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset”
  4. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
  5. Tap “Back up data” > “SD Card”
  6. Select the contacts you want to back up and tap “Start”
  7. When prompted with “Backup completed”, tap “Done”

Back Up Contacts Using an LG Account:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
  4. Tap “Backup & restore”
  5. Tap “Back up data” > “LG Cloud”
  6. Log in with your LG Account and enable “Personal data”, while deselecting the other options
  7. Expand the “Personal data” option and ensure “Contacts” is checked
  8. Tap “Start”
  9. When prompted with “Backup completed”, tap “Done”

Back Up Media Files Using Your Phone:

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. If necessary, access the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
  4. Tap “Backup & Restore”
  5. Turn on “Media data” and disable the other options
  6. Tap “Start”
  7. At the “Backup completed” prompt, tap “Done”

Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

  1. Establish a USB Connection between the LG X Power and computer
  2. When prompted, enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)”, or enable the option from the “Notification” area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media files on your phone and copy them
  5. Transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
  6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage via system tray
  7. You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
