  7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  8. After the sync is complete, switch to the LG X Mach and register the same Google account
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:

  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Go to “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. After the vCard has been downloaded, perform one of the following steps:
    • Import the vCard via “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the LG X Mach to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import the file to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require access to a computer, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the application
  3. Tap “Backup”
  4. Once the backup file is completed, tap “Email”
  5. Make sure the email contains the vCard file and send it to your own email address
  6. Switch to the LG device and open the email
  7. Download the vCard attachment
  8. Use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party application you can use to transfer iPhone contacts is Send Anywhere. The application, for Android and iOS, uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the LG X Mach via the Google Play Store
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select a transfer method. You can tap “Receive” on the LG device and enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone, or tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the LG phone’s camera to begin the transfer
