how do i make ringtones using the voice recording tool or can i not do that on this phone because my buddy can but he has a lg

Not sure but I've never heard of being able to do that on the v551. If you could, it would still depend on what carrier you are using since some carriers disable their users from being able to set their own ringtones (can only use the ones on the phone or ones that were downloaded from the carrier's website).
