I have a Blackberry 7100g that a friend had on a Cingular network and gave me when he upgraded.

    I have US Cellular.

Is it possible to change the blackberry phone to work in place of my existing phone. The piece of crap phone I currently have is an Audiovox CDM-8900. The reason I don't buy another one is because it is a company phone.

US Cellular said they don't have SIM cards, so I'm thinking I would have to somehow program the blackberry.

Just need to be pointed in the right direction (but steps would be nice

    Re: Change networks

    It's called network compatability.

A CDMA Network phone will in NO WAY work on a GSM Network. No...there is no way to program, cheat, fake, etc the phone to think otherwise....sorry.
