ok, i have had my sprint/nextel i335 for about 2 weeks now, and everything had been going smoothly. A few days ago when i was texting my friend, his reply came back but didnt go to my inbox. Instead, it went to a folder on the phone called "sms." I can still receive messages, but i cannot see who they are from, and i cannot directly reply to them. Any ideas?

Re: i335 text problem
After FAR too long I finally tracked down the root of this problem (at least in my case). I spent too long calling many Motorola numbers, and they said it was a problem with my carrier. They said the problem always happens with Nextel - never with Boost.
So I called Nextel. Nextel explained that my service was not setup for 2-way messaging - and therefore the messages were being forwarded to my 1-way messaging option (going to my SMS folder rather than going to my inbox). Because I don't have 2-way messaging, they don't show the sender or let me respond.
So I asked them to set me up with 2-way messaging. They did. They have several plans. I chose the 0.20 per text plan. I can now see the sender and reply.
