Re: Is it possible to sync with i465 Clutch?
If you're able to see the Ringtone button on the side of your myJal, then you should be okay. The MP3 format must be Mono and 8000Hz. I also heard that it must be under 30 seconds, but I haven't tried that out yet. I usually use Audacity to ensure that I conform to these requirements. I can't remember the other specifications for other file formats. I used to use harrythompson.com to find out, but it doesn't appear to be up at this time. Hope this helps.

Re: Is it possible to sync with i465 Clutch?
Ringtones need to be in the following format:
File type: WAV
Bit depth: 8 bits
Sample Rate: 8000Hz
Channels: 1 (mono)
Go to the Audacity Wiki for instructions.
I am currently having the same problem when I follow these instructions. When I used Nero Wav Editor I had no errors uploading to my i465 or my wife's i335 using MyJal. But when I use Audacity and covert using the same specs I get a "not able to communicate with computer" error. I don't get it.
I will try to remove the ID Tags from the mp3 files before converting to see what happens.

Re: Ringtones on the i465 Clutch?
OK it worked! Follow the instructions above. When you Save and the Edit Metadata window pops up select Clear then OK. The Wav file will save and can be used as a ringtone using MyJal
Bottom line the file cannot contain ANY metadata for it to work.
