Sync iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:

NOTE: With iTunes installed on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data with the Moto G4 Plus.

  1. Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and the computer
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to the “Info” tab
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account, or alternatively, click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. After the sync is complete, register the Google account on the Motorola device and allow it to sync contacts with your phone

Share iPhone Contacts From iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have been backed up previously on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer with Internet access, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Once the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, import the file to “Google Contacts”, or alternatively:
  6. Connect the Moto G4 Plus to your PC via USB, copy the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it

Via “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with access to the Internet, alternatively you can transfer iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can be used to back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”
  3. After the vCard backup file has been created, tap “Email”
  4. Write a new email containing the vCard file as an attachment
  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. Switch to the Moto G4 Plus, open the email, and download the vCard attachment
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for contact transfer. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. On the Android device, visit the Google Play Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the Motorola phone
  3. Launch the app on both handsets
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send”
  6. Select a transfer method such as “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone, or “Receive” on the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and follow the on-screen steps to complete the contact transfer
