How-to: Moto E3 Power: Manage Contacts and Caller Groups; Clear the Call Log

Create a New Contact:

1. Open the apps drawer
2. Launch “Contacts”
3. Access “All Contacts”
4. Tap “+” and select an account to sync the contact with
5. Enter the contact’s phone number, name, and other optional details in the appropriate fields
6. Tap “Done” when ready

Import / Export Contacts:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Tap “Import / Export”
4. Choose to “Import from storage”, “Import from SIM card” or “Export to storage”
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the export or import

Assign a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
2. Go to “Widgets”
3. Drag and drop the “Direct Dial” widget in an empty area on the home screen
4. At the prompt, select the contact you want to link with the widget

NOTE: You can add multiple Direct Dial widgets on the home screen by repeating the steps above, and you can also organize Direct Dial widgets in folders on the home screen by dragging and dropping one widget on top of another.

Delete Contacts:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Access “All Contacts”
3. Select the contact you want to remove
4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
5. Tap “Disable” > “OK” to confirm

Create a New Caller Group (via Contact):

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Go to “All Contacts”
3. Select the contact you want to be part of the new group
4. Tap “More Fields”
5. Tap “Group name” > “Create new group”
6. Enter a name for the group
7. Tap “OK” to confirm

Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Access “All Contacts”
3. Tap the contact you want to add to a group
4. Tap “Edit”
5. Access “More Fields” and scroll down to, then tap “Group name”
6. Select the desired group
7. Tap “OK” to confirm
