Managing Contacts
Adding a New Contact:
- Tap the "Contacts" icon while on the home screen
- Access the "Contacts" tab
- Tap the "+" icon and select to save the contact to the "Device", "SIM" or "Google"
- Tap the "First name" field and type in the contact's name
- Enter the contact's phone number in the appropriate field
- Provide any additional information as you see fit
- When ready, tap "Save"
Assigning a Contact to Speed Dial:
- Tap the "Phone" icon while on a home screen
- Tap the "Keypad" tab if necessary
- Press "Menu" > "Speed dial settings"
- Touch the dial pad number that you want to use
- Select the contact that you wish to assign to the dial pad number
Changing the Ringtone of a Contact:
NOTE: you can't change a contact's ringtone, if the contact is saved on the SIM card or the phone's memory.
- Launch the "Contacts" application
- Choose a contact and tap the "Edit" icon
- Tap "Ringtone" and select the desired ringtone
- Tap "OK" and press "Save" to confirm
Deleting Contacts:
- From the home screen, tap "Contacts"
- Go to the "Contacts" tab. NOTE: you can delete contacts from a specified list (such as Google contacts) by pressing "Menu" > "Contacts to display" and choosing the desired contact list
- Press "Menu" and tap "Delete"
- Mark the check boxes associated with the contacts that you wish to remove. Alternatively, press "Select all"
- Tap "Delete" > "OK"
Importing / Exporting Contacts
Importing / Exporting Contacts from the SD Card:
- From the "Contacts" application, go to the "Contacts" tab
- Press the "Menu" key
- Tap "Import / Export"
- Perform one of the following:
- To import contacts from the SD card:
- Tap "Import from SD card"
- Select the location where to save the contacts (such as an account) and tap "OK"
- Choose to: "Import vCard file", "Import multiple vCard files" or "Import all vCard files"
- Tap "OK". If necessary, select the desired vCard file and tap "OK" again
- To export contacts to the SD Card:
- Tap "Export to SD card"
- Tap "OK" to confirm
- To import contacts from the SD card:

- Access the "Contacts" tab
- Press the "Menu" button
- Tap "Import / Export"
- Perform one of the following:
- To export contacts to the SIM card:
- Tap "Export to SIM card"
- Mark the desired contacts, or tap "Select all"
- Tap "Done" and press "OK"
- To import contacts from the SIM card:
- Tap "Import from SIM card"
- Select the location where you want to import the files, such as an account, and tap "OK"
- Mark the check boxes next to the desired contacts, or tap "Select all"
- Tap "Done"
- To export contacts to the SIM card:
Managing Groups
Creating a Caller Group:
- Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
- Access the "Groups" tab
- Press "Menu" and tap "Create"
- Type in a name for the group
- To add members, tap "Add member" and mark the check boxes next to the desired contacts
- Tap "Save"
Adding Contacts to an Existing Group:
NOTE: you can add contacts to a group only if the contacts are saved on a Google account or on the phone's memory.
- From the "Contacts" application, go to the "Groups" tab
- Select the desired group
- Press the "+" button, or otherwise press "Menu" > "Edit" > "Add member"
- Mark the check boxes next to the contacts that you want to add. You can also tap "Select all"
- Tap "Done"
