Via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes you can sync the contacts stored on your iPhone with a Google account. Afterwards you can re-sync the contacts from the account with the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. This method requires access to a computer with Internet and iTunes installed.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  3. After it connects, the iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click it to view its summary page
  4. Click the "Info" tab and check the "Sync Contacts With" box
  5. Select "Google Contacts" from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account. Alternatively, click "Configure" and select an existing account from the list
  7. Click "Apply" to begin the sync
  8. Register the same Google account on the Galaxy Core Prime and allow it to sync contacts with your phone

Via iCloud:

NOTE: If you have used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone before, your contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. You can access it using a computer hooked up to the Internet, and export these contacts for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click "Contacts" and select the contacts you want to export
  4. Click the "Settings" icon and select "Export vCard"
  5. After the VCF file is downloaded, import it to "Google Contacts", otherwise connect the Core Prime to the computer via USB and transfer the file to the phone's storage. Then, launch "Contacts", tap "Menu" > "Settings" > "Contacts" > "Import /Export" > "Import from SD"

Via "My Contacts Backup":

NOTE: While the methods above require access to a computer, you can also transfer your contacts third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer contacts in the form of a VCF file via email.

  1. Launch the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap "Backup"
  3. Once the file is created, tap "Email"
  4. Create a new email with the VCF file attached to it, and send it to your own email address
  5. Switch to the Galaxy Core Prime and open the email
  6. Download the file attachment and import it using the "Contacts" application

Via "Send Anywhere":

NOTE: Last but not least you can transfer your contacts using Send Anywhere. This is an iOS and Android app that can be used for contact transfer cross platform, over a peer-to-peer connection without needing a computer.

  1. Access the App Store and install "Send Anywhere" on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the Core Prime from the Google Play Store
  3. Open the application on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" > "Contacts"
  5. Check the contacts you want to share and tap "Send"
  6. Select the desired transfer method. Tapping "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone allows you to commence the transfer after scanning the code with the Core Prime's camera. You can also tap "Receive" on the Core Prime and manually enter the transfer code from the iPhone
