News: Sprint HTC Evo 3D recieves a software update

Another handset is going under a software update and this time it is the Sprint HTC Evo 3D. The update for the Evo 3D is not a huge update but will bring your device up to version 2.08.651.2.

Some of the things you can expect with this update are: GPS issues, Facebook and contacts birthdays will no longer be a day off, the Spiderman demo lockups will be fixed, issues with the hanging of the lockscreen, and transferring contacts via Bluetooth.

You can manually force your HTC Evo 3D to check for the update by going to your Settings; System Updates; HTC Software Update; Check Now. You can, however, wait for the update to come automatically, but that won't be until August 23. Since the automatic update is OTA, all Sprint HTC Evo 3D handset may not receive it at the same time, but be patient, it will finally reach yours.
