Do you guys like T-Mobile? The more I hear about the flexibility you can have being on a GSM network, the more I want to switch. I've heard good things about T-Mobile and just wanted to know whether you guys think it would be a good idea to switch.

Re: T-Mobile, Good or Bad?
Well, I wouldn't switch just for the use of a sim card. If it was a reason like their rate plans would be better for you, coverage or customer service, then yeah go for it!

Re: T-Mobile, Good or Bad?
It depends on what you're looking for in a service provider, and also the coverage.

Re: T-Mobile, Good or Bad?
CDMA providers like Verizon, Sprint, and Alltel are generally considered to have better rural coverage, which is important for anyone who a) travels in rural areas, b) lives in the boonies, or c) has family in the boonies. T-Mobile has great service plans, and they have great coverage in Jacksonville, FL where I live and other well-populated areas. But if you fall into any of the three categories above, you may want to consider staying where you are.

Re: T-Mobile, Good or Bad?
i am in the same situation...I live about 35-40 minutes from the city on Long Island...only problem is is that I live in the basement :-/ ......but I keep telling myself that cingular sprint and all of those have made their adjustments and that t-mobile will soon have great coverage out here. I am hoping so

Re: T-Mobile, Good or Bad?
Yea, it really depends where you live, i have a tmobile tower across the street from me, so im always full signal. And tmobile customer service is much much better than cingular. Plus, they have some good phones even for prepaid plans

Re: T-Mobile, Good or Bad?
yeah i'm with verizon right now and it dominates the signals out here.....i have 2 bars even in my basement.....and t mobile users rarely get service in my basement where I live but i think the switch would be a LOT LESS costly....any ideas on what I should do?

Re: T-Mobile, Good or Bad?
I think T-mobile is a good service. Every service has its quirks but i've had most of the major phone companies and this one is working out great for me.

Re: T-Mobile, Good or Bad?
It depends...
If you want the best coverage, Verizon and Cingular is your choice.
If you want the best prices, T-mobile is your choice.

I really like T-Mobile, and they have good customer service.
If you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much space.
