I'm really liking the 6300 but theres not a single normal ringtone on
it. Is there anywhere i can go for free ringtones or a free way of
making my own and getting them onto the phone?

I don't want pop music - i want something simple that stands out
against background noise. On my old 6310i i used a tubular bells tone
so that's the one piece of music i'd consider but i'd prefer jsut a
good simple ring.
