I'm fed up with the email software provided with the handset (can't
'quote' properly for interleaved replies, and insists that all messages
must be both Base 64 encoded /and/ include HTML - both a complete waste of
bandwidth and infuriating for me as I've spent years trying to convince
people that plain text is the only sane way to go for email). (Part of
the problem may well be that the person I most need to exchange emails with
insists on using AOL webmail). I've tried to find alternative software
using web searches but without success so far.

Does anyone know of a real email client that can be installed on this
handset?

Please bear in mind that I use Linux, not Windows, on my computer, and
that I've never ever tried to install software on a mobile phone before.
I'm currently trying to get the phone to talk to the computer via
Bluetooth - another learning curve I'm still at the foot of.
