Nokia 6300 Quiet

Hi all

Just "inherited" a Nokia 6300 from a colleague and find that the earpiece
volume seems low.
Have pressed the toggle bar on the r h side of the device to show maximum on
the vol display.
Is this a feature of the phone or have I missed something?

Sorry, can't help with your query but I also have a very quiet 6300. I
have used a friend's before and it was much louder.

Maybe a software issue as I am sure they can't all be this bad.

I did consider the software angle, but have upgraded the firmware to the
latest version and it has made no difference.
